COMMERCE CITY ― The Commerce City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing endangered adult. On May 13, 2010 at about 4:00 p.m. Gilbert Clayburn was reported missing from a local adult care facility. Gilbert Clayburn is a 76 year old, African American male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 150 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue tee shirt and blue jeans.
Mr. Clayburn suffers from dementia and may not be able to provide his address or a phone number to contact the care facility. Mr. Clayburn is believed to have been in the area of Colfax and Kalamath St. in Denver.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Clayburn is asked to call 911 or contact the Commerce City Police Department at 303-287-2844.
