We recently had a rash of burglaries in our area (10 from downtown)...4 door kicks and 1 window. We've trimmed back our bushes, added a peephole, a fake camera on the porch and antikick device to our door frame. Hopefully BPD gets these little *!&%$'s. Granted we didnt spend a lot of money, but it still is $ that could have gone to something else...you can find anti kick deals from $79-$124 online. We found ours at http://www.doordevil.com. The peephole you get from Home Depot for about $10...trimming the bushes...just effort.
