Adam Lynch, age 34, also known as the “Ho Hum Bandit,” was arrested late Monday, April 18, 2011, in Denver by members of the FBI-led Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, United States Attorney John Walsh and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent in Charge James Yacone announced today. Lynch will likely make his initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Denver tomorrow.
Yesterday, April 19, 2011, a federal grand jury in Denver returned a one-count indictment charging Lynch with the March 16, 2011 bank robbery of Chase Bank located at 1705 North Sheridan Boulevard in Edgewater, Colorado. If convicted of this bank robbery, Lynch faces not more than 20 years in federal prison, and up to a $250,000 fine.
The FBI is investigating a large number of additional bank robberies in four states, including California, Washington, Wyoming, and Colorado that may be linked to this charge. Additional charges regarding those bank robberies are possible.
This case is being investigated by the FBI-led Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force, in partnership with other FBI field offices as well as numerous local jurisdictions.
Lynch is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney David Conner.

A Shooting Claims the life of 18 year old Dijoun Quinn... COMMERCE CITY - The Commerce City Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 6500 block of Holly St. Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the area. When they arrived they found a male lying on the ground. It appears that an 18 year old male was walking southbound on Holly St when he was shot multiple times. The male was transported to the hospital but did not survive his injuries. Commerce City police identified the 18-year-old as Dijoun Quinn, a recent graduate of Adams City High School who had enlisted in the Army. Quinn's Grandfather says his grandson didn't have any enemies and was not in a gang. There is no suspect information available at this time, and investigators are encouraging anyone with information to contact Detective Bryan VanderMeer at 303-289-3629 or the Commerce City Tip Line at 303-289-3626. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
