Second Suicide at the Adams County Jail...

I am concerned about the fact that the Adams County Jail knew that Dominic was depressed and suicidal to begin with and yet they put him in solitary WITH a bed sheet when that's supposed to be against protocol, right? They should have done more to prevent this type of thing from happening! I'm VERY upset with how they didn't take any of that into consideration or affect. They could have prevented this from happening! They should have learned from the first time!

    1. Dominic was a sweet guy. He never had a chance in life - it is incredibly sad to hear this news - I pray he is learning what true happiness is as I know he did not have it here. God Bless you Dom

  2. I thought it was standard procedure to take everything away from someone who was in a potential depressed state, that could lead to themselves hurting themselves. Questions need to be asked.

I will be asking questions! I just can't believe they would put him in a room ALONE with a bedsheet! They could have saved his life by just following standard procedures! I would like to start a petition against Adams County for what has happened. I just would like to make sure this never happens again. If you would like to be involoved please leave a comment on here!

WERE THE POLICE REALLY DOING THIER JOB? THEY TOLD US THIS ONLY HAPPENS EVERY 5-6 YEARS, I SEE HERE THEY ARE WRONG. THROUGH MY GRIEVING IM NOW ABLE TO LOOK THESE THINGS UP.

  7. Your daughter-in-law called her Grandma and told her she was going to kill herself more than a half hour before she killed herself. If what she said had been reported, Officers could have been up to her cell in about a minute and thwarted the suicide. I'm sorry about your loss, but to try to blame Adams County because inmates commit suicide is simply silly. If they had to house every inmate who is depressed on suicide protocol there would be no inmates housed in general population. When an inmate claims to be suicidal or another inmate reports an inmate may be suicidal they are evaluated by mental health and housed on suicide protocol.
