Adams County Assessor Gil Reyes

Adams County Assessor Gil Reyes plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of failure to report a gift of accepting Rockies tickets and was fined $300. The penalty could have been anywhere from $50 to $1000 fine.

The Denver Post reported that Reyes had three possible honorarium violations. The District Attorney’s Office investigated three allegations and during the investigation it was discovered that only one violation could be charged due to the expiration of the statute of limitations in the other two incidents.
