COMMERCE CITY – The Commerce City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in locating witnesses or any information regarding a homicide.On October 15, 2011 at 11:25 p.m., the police department responded to the area of 58th Avenue and Quebec Street after receiving two 911 calls reporting a male lying in the street. Officers found 30-year-old Jervon Pitts unresponsive; he was transported to Denver Health where he was pronounced deceased.
Investigation of this homicide is ongoing. Detectives are encouraging anyone who has information to call the Commerce City Police Department anonymous tip line at 303-289-3626 or contact Detective Crook at 303-727-3916.
