On August 30, 2009, at approximately 11:30 p.m., the Adams County Sheriff’s Office responded to call of a disturbance with shots fired in the 6600 block of Julian Street in unincorporated Adams County. When deputies arrived, they found an adult male lying in the street. The victim had obvious injuries and paramedics declared him dead at the scene.The Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate Levelle Patricia Valdez, 32, who may have been present at the time of the shooting, but left prior to the deputies’ arrival. Valdez is described as a white female, 5’0” tall, 120 pounds, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Valdez is not considered a suspect at this time.
