Police investigating death of 1-year-old female

On Sunday, August 2, 2009, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Commerce City officers and Northglenn Ambulance paramedics responded to the area of E. 60^th Avenue and Hudson Street in reference to an unresponsive 1-year-old female not breathing.

Family members performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived and took over. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim was later pronounced dead.

The victim had been sleeping in bed when she was found not breathing. The investigation is ongoing.
