The Brighton Police Department Victim Assistance Program is seeking volunteer victim advocates. Advocates change the lives of others in the community who have been impacted by crime, violence and sudden trauma. The next training will be held from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 28 through Oct. 28, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Oct. 2 and 16.
