The Aurora Police Department and the FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force (RMSSTF) are investigating a bank robbery.
The robbery occurred at:
Bank of the West
1389 South Havana Street
Aurora, Colorado
12/13/2010, 5:40 p.m.
The suspects are described a Hispanic male, approximately 5’8” in height, with a thin build.
A Hispanic female 5’2” to 5’3”, with a heavy build
The two suspects were both armed with handguns.
The RMSSTF have dubbed these suspects believed to be the “3-2-1 Bandits”.
The suspects demanded money and fled the bank.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
