BRIGHTON--Investigators from Greater Brighton Fire Protection District have determined the origin of the recent apartment fire. The investigation revealed that the fire started in an apartment on the 2nd floor of the building. The area of origin was near the combination stove/oven in that apartment. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.The control of the building has been returned to the owner. Friday morning firefighters assisted residents in removing their belongings. The building is still uninhabitable.
