Update on: ASSISTANCE NEEDED IN LOCATING MISSING DISABLED MAN

UPDATE: On January 20, 2011, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance in locating Mark Oldham. The request came after officials were unable to locate him after a house fire on the evening of January 18, 2011. On February 4, 2011, Oldham was found safe at a relative’s house in the Pueblo area.

The fire remains under investigation. At this time, it is unknown what, if any, involvement Oldham has in connection to the fire.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public for their assistance in trying to locate Oldham.

In the late evening on January 18, 2011, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Bennett Fire Department responded to a house fire in the town of Bennett, Colorado. When the emergency personnel arrived they were unable to locate 41-year-old, Mark Oldham, the resident of the home.

Fire investigators continue to investigate the cause of the fire. At this time, it is unknown what, if any, involvement Mr. Oldham has in connection to the fire.

An extensive search was conducted in an effort to locate Mr. Oldham but he remains missing. Mark Oldham suffers from the effects of a severe traumatic brain and physical injury. According to Mr. Oldham’s family, his brain injury caused vision and hearing impairments diminishing his ability to care for himself.

Mr. Oldham is described as 5’10” tall, 185 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. There is no clothing description available.
