The investigation alleges Martinez-Hernandez intentionally drove into the victim with his car and continued to drive while she clung to the hood. The victim received life threatening injuries when she was thrown from the car several blocks later.
The assault occurred just after midnight last Saturday morning, near 20th Ave. and Egbert St., in Brighton.
Jose Javier Martinez-Hernandez, (a.k.a. “J.J.”) is 21 years old, 5’5”, 140 pounds, Brown hair and eyes. His last known address was in Brighton.
Brighton Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Martinez-Hernandez.
