COMMERCE CITY ― Officers are currently investigating a report of a missing child with suspicious circumstances. At about 4 p.m. today, officers were called to an apartment in the 5600 block of Olive St., and provided information about a missing child. The Commerce City Police Department continues to investigate this incident and the mother of the child is cooperating with the investigation. It is not believed that any other children or residents in the area are in any danger. Based on initial information, police determined an Amber Alert is not appropriate at this time.
Due to the preliminary stage of the investigation, no other details are being released at this time. Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
