Bank Robbery in Thornton

At 11:25 AM on April 11, 2012, Thornton Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery at the Key Bank located at 3505 E. 104th Avenue. Officers were able to establish that a robbery did occur at that location.

According to information given to the officers, a male entered the bank with a handgun and demanded money with a note. The male then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. Nobody was injured inside the bank during the incident.

Officers were able to locate a possible suspect location in the 10600 block of St. Paul in the City of Northglenn. Officers established a perimeter within the area and later contacted one male who was detained as the possible suspect in the robbery.
