Brighton Police Seek Help to Identify Suspect

Brighton police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a robbery which occurred at Beattie’s Community Pharmacy on July 9, 2009, at about 12:30 p.m.

According to the victims, a male entered the business and presented a note demanding specific narcotic substances. The male claimed to have a gun, although none was seen by the victims. After receiving an undisclosed amount of narcotics, the man fled the business, warning the victims not to follow him because there was a bomb outside the store.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid-twenties, between 5’ 6” and 5’10” tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds, with short brown hair. He was described as wearing a black baseball cap, large sunglasses, a long-sleeved white shirt, and blue jeans, and was reportedly carrying a dark-colored backpack.

The attached composite sketch, produced from witness descriptions, may resemble the suspect as he appeared at the time of the robbery.
