Click to EnlargeBrighton police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a robbery which occurred at Beattie’s Community Pharmacy on July 9, 2009, at about 12:30 p.m.
According to the victims, a male entered the business and presented a note demanding specific narcotic substances. The male claimed to have a gun, although none was seen by the victims. After receiving an undisclosed amount of narcotics, the man fled the business, warning the victims not to follow him because there was a bomb outside the store.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his mid-twenties, between 5’ 6” and 5’10” tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds, with short brown hair. He was described as wearing a black baseball cap, large sunglasses, a long-sleeved white shirt, and blue jeans, and was reportedly carrying a dark-colored backpack.
The attached composite sketch, produced from witness descriptions, may resemble the suspect as he appeared at the time of the robbery. Police ask that anyone with information about the identity of the suspect contact Detective Michael Payne at 303-655-2367, or Detective Sergeant Roger McCarty at 303-655-2325.
