Harry Denard Williams guilty of First Degree Murder

Adams & Broomfield County District Attorney Don Quick announced Friday, October 23rd that a jury found 23 year old Harry Denard Williams guilty of First Degree Murder in the shooting death of 41 year old Aurora Code Enforcement Officer Rodney Morales.

Morales was unarmed when he was shot to death while conducting a scheduled inspection at the Clinton Apartments in the 1900 block of Clinton Street.

Judge Vincent Phelps immediately sentenced Williams to life in prison without the possibility of parole, as required by Colorado state law.

District Attorney Don Quick states, "We are very please with the verdict in this case. It will not bring back Rodney, but it is the first step in justice being served."
