On January 9, 2011 at approximately 4:35 P.M. a Colorado State Trooper was assisting a motorist that had slid off the roadway on northbound I-25 at milepost 274.An early model silver Chevrolet Astro Van slid and struck the unoccupied State Trooper's patrol car disabling it completely. The van fled the scene with extreme front-end damage. Neither the Trooper or motorist were injured.
The Colorado State Patrol is asking if anyone witnessed this crash or has any information on the Chevrolet Astro Van please call (303) 239-4501.
